Mash Fiesta 2000 sidewalk creole food fair

THE Guyana Small Business Association (GSBA), in collaboration with King Creole Court Canteen, will be hosting a grand two-day sidewalk Creole food fair along King Street, Lacytown between South Road and Charlotte Street, Georgetown.

According to a statement from the GSBA, the Mash fiesta will be held tomorrow and Tuesday from 08:00-18:00 hours.

Guyanese art and craft will be on display, the statement said.

Among those invited to participate in the food fair are those who are interested and are involved in the preparation and or sale of Afro-Guyanese creole foods and drink; Indo-Guyanese Creole foods and drinks, Amerindian fare; as well as local art and craft producers of Guyana souvenirs, creole music producers and dancers.

Among the benefits are prizes in each category; increase in sales of products; advertisement of businesses and networking, the release said.

Spots can be secured as early as possible at $10 000 each for the two days.
