THE Government of Guyana yesterday came good on a promise to provide a house and land to World Boxing Association welterweight champion Andrew `Sixhead' Lewis.

Lewis' representative were presented with a cheque for five million dollars which represents the cost of the house the government had promised.

Lewis received the title to his house lot when he visited here last month.

No date has been fixed for the construction of the building as Lewis has indicated he will provide additional financing for a structure to better satisfy his lrequirements.
