FAMOUS Guyanese actor, director, playwright, storyteller, poet, journalist and comedian, Mr. Ken Corsbie, is scheduled to give two performances here this month.

The shows are billed for Guyana at Le Meridien Pegasus Savannah Suite on Friday, April 25 at 19:00 hrs, and the following day at the Umana Yana. Tickets are $1 000 and $800 respectively, and are available at the Front Desk, Le Meridien Pegasus.

Corsbie will be in Guyana, courtesy of GEMS Theatre Productions. His return is being facilitated by BWIA.

Well known for his `All Ah We’ shows with Marc Matthews, Johnny Agard, and at other times teaming up with famed Guyanese flutist, Keith Waithe, Corsbie brings to the stage the sound of the sea, the rainforest, the heat of the sun, accents of Island voices, rhythms of calypso and carnival, humour and sometimes the humbug of living and loving in the Caribbean.

Corsbie resides in the USA. Recently, he has performed in Toronto, Washington, New York, Boston, Connecticut, Grenada, Cayman Islands, and Miami.
