POLICE Commissioner Winston Felix yesterday presented monetary incentives to four cops for outstanding work.

The recipients were awarded for their part in foiling the recent kidnap of Narissa Persaud, who was abducted from Critchlow Labour College by three men on February 26.

The awardees, Deputy Superintendent Colin West, Corporal 13691 Britton and Constables 18475 Rajnarine, 18777 Craig and 18728 Moore had responded promptly to the telephone report of the kidnapping.

Mr Felix complimented them on a job well done and urged them to continue being focused.

He challenged ranks who successfully make arrests of criminals to ensure that, from their testimony, the effectiveness of the criminal justice system will be enhanced.
