The juvenile court has issued an arrest warrant for the student who struck a teacher at the Lodge Community High School.

Police slapped a charge of wounding on the 15-year-old who is accused of hitting Brian Balgobin on March 9 with a piece of wood.

According to reports, the teacher had warned the boy about violating a no-pass zone and the boy retaliated by striking him on the head. Balgobin was rushed to the hospital and the boy fled the scene.

The boy has been on the run ever since while teachers at the school have been protesting the dangerous conditions.
