Police from the East La Penitence Police Station late yesterday afternoon arrested one man after he was caught in a home with two schoolgirls. His accomplice got away.

According to reports reaching this newspaper, the girls, said to be around 11 and 12 and students of a city school, were seen going into the home by a resident who became concerned.

Reports are that the girls were transported in a car by one of the men, both of whom are teenagers and one, the father of a young child.

The resident, who said she is a mother and was horrified by the acts of the men, called the police and they arrived at the East La Penitence Housing Scheme in a matter of minutes.

Upon their arrival one of the teenagers escaped through a window while the other was found with the two children. One of them was said to be in a state of undress.

All three were taken to the East La Penitence Police Station.
