The Guyana Police Force is on a massive recruitment drive today with interested persons between the ages of 18-30 asked to visit various centres around the country.

Public Relations Officer of the GPF, Assistant Superintendent John Sauers, says registration starts at 8 am and will run until 12 pm.

Applicants asked to bring along one passport-size photograph of themselves.

The recruitment centres in Berbice are at the New Amsterdam Technical Institute, Rose Hall Primary School, Bush Lot Secondary and Tagore Memorial High Schools, Corriverton Primary, Rosignol and Fort Wellington Secondary.

On the East Coast, the centres are at Mahaicony Secondary, Helena Primary, Cove and John Secondary and LBI Primary

In Georgetown and the East Bank, the centres will be at St Stanislaus College, Diamond Primary and Timehri Primary.

There is also a centre at the Linden Technical Institute.

West Demerara residents can apply at the Patentia and West Demerara Secondary schools, Leonora Primary and Parika/Salem Secondary.

In Essequibo, the centres will be at JC Community High School as well as the Aurora and CV Nunes Primary schools and the Charity Secondary schools. Bartica Secondary is also a recruitment centre.
