THE Guyana Local Organising Committee (LOC) for Cricket World Cup 2007 is establishing a database to capture all the social events to be undertaken here during March 28-April 9.
This initiative, the LOC says, is geared to advertise these events for the benefit of our many visitors seeking entertainment, especially on the non-match days.
To this end, prospective organizers wishing to host social events during the period stated above are encouraged to register with the LOC Office at 91 Middle Street Georgetown no later than 15th February, 2007.
The LOC urges: “Come discuss your calendar of events with Ms. Maureen Fortune; she will be more than happy to guide you in this regard.
