Teach the children not to litter
Dear Editor,
I refer to the photo on the front page of the Thursday paper of the President of Guyana and the Mayor of Georgetown. When I lived and worked in Israel, the adults learned the new language, Hebrew, from their children who learned it in school. Looking at the said photo, I think it must go the same way in Guyana, the children must learn not to throw garbage (plasticbags, plasticbottles, etc) around, but in garbage bins, as part of the school curriculum, and the parents will learn by seeing how the children do it.
Yours faithfully,

And when the children become adults, they will have clean habits, like the adults in Israel today speak Hebrew.
