Police should accept constructive criticism
Dear Editor,
When an individual is shot by the police in most cases they say the accused rushed at them with a dangerous weapon. Eyewitness reports often contradict this.

This process is causing the public to lose respect for the force and its members. When an individual is shot in his mouth, what reason can be given?
We should all accept constructive criticism to improve ourselves. The members of the police force should be no exception. When the police shoot unnecessarily it exposes the lack of professionalism of that individual. The commissioner might well be advised to make an open statement against such malpractices.
