FORMER Police Commissioner Laurie Lewis has been appointed the new Director of the Joint Intelligence Coordinating Committee, Head of the Presidential Secretariat and Cabinet Secretary, Dr. Roger Luncheon announced yesterday.

He told a news conference Cabinet was informed of the appointment, which will entail Lewis being in charge of the office that maintains records on drug traffickers and drug trafficking.

Mr. Lewis has succeeded Mr. Joseph Beckles as the Director of the Joint Intelligence Coordinating Committee, Luncheon said.
