Schools countrywide also have programmes which in many instances include visits to places of interest.
Region Four was set to unveil its activities yesterday with a road relay race from Victoria Village to Paradise on the East Coast Demerara.

A calypso competition and a parade which will end with a grand rally at the Uitvlugt Community Centre ground will be among the region's activities.
According to the Mash Secretariat, Region Five intends to stage a school children's rally, a road race and a road march, a fashion display, drumming and the feeding of senior citizens.
