World boxing title hopeful Wayne `Big Truck' Braithwaite is likely to
finally have his elimination bout for the World Boxing Council
cruiserweight belt against Marcelo Dominguez of Argentina sometime in
August.
According to the Guyanese's manager Buxo Potts of Trinidad and
Tobago, Braithwaite will fight Dominguez sometime in August either in
the United States or Argentina.
Potts, said the division is likely to become vacant of a champion
following the expected elevation of title holder Juan Carlos Gomez to
the heavyweight ranks.
As a result a number of elimination bouts between the top contenders
will be staged to determine the best two to contest for the crown.
Braithwaite is currently ranked number two following his demolition
of American Matthew Charlestown in two rounds last week Thursday in
the United States.
Twenty-four year-old Braithwaite has 15-0 record with 13 knockouts.
