BWIA, one of the Caribbean's leading airlines, on Thursday officially launched an all-inclusive package for travellers to several destinations in and around the Caribbean and other gateways.

The package, dubbed 'BWEE Travel Solutions', has five categories - music festivals, business, shopping, honeymoon and business and includes the cost of the flight, hotel accommodation, meals, tours and transportation.
However, if a customer has his or her own accommodation and transportation this would be deducted from the package.
The package became available in March this year and extends until March next year.
Packages are available to Antigua, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, London, Miami, New York, Nevis, St Kitts, St Lucia, St Maarten, St Martin, St Vincent & the Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago, Toronto and Washington.

Alison Hackett, manager of BWIA's Travel Solutions, at the launching at the airline's Robb Street location said that the package is the airline's latest world of choices product. She said that customers interested in the travel solutions project will find that the system is hassle free since the goal of the package is to ensure that all the customers' travel needs are met even before they leave the country.
"It is pre-planned, it is pre-paid and it is not something you have to go dipping into your pockets when you reach the country and say I did not budget enough," Hackett said.
Hackett urged the representatives of travel agencies to look at the options offered and explore them. The package was inaugurated in 1999 and Hackett said it has a wide support network.
The manager challenged travel agencies to find a better price to London. The package caters for individuals or groups with a travel related need within the Caribbean and from the Caribbean to BWIA's North American, South American and UK destinations.
Some of the benefits customers can expect should they use the package are the widest selection of destination hotels throughout the Caribbean; easy connections to/from BWIA's North American and Caribbean gateways and economically-priced options to combine BWIA's Caribbean destinations.
BWIA came into existence 61 years ago and has been operating in Guyana for the past 56 years.
