A key witness testified yesterday as the America Street cambio robbery preliminary inquiry continued. Barbara Marshalls, a former girlfriend of Clyde Atwell, one of the defendants, took the stand yesterday after attorney-at-law, Basil Williams, appearing for Atwell, complained that the prosecution had not provided a single key witness to link his client to the crime.

Atwell, Toyin Anderson, Andrew Douglas, and Linden London called 'Blackie' are charged jointly with a daring daylight robbery on D. Singh and Sons Cambio, America Street on September 22. Millions of dollars in local and foreign currencies were allegedly taken away. Six persons were also shot during the robbery. Arrest warrants have been issued for London and Douglas.

Atwell and Anderson, who are both on six charges of attempted murder and two of robbery, will return to court today as the inquiry continues.
