No response to application for teaching job
Dear Editor,
Parents and guardians pay a lot of money sending their children to school for them to have an education with the hope of getting a good job when they're finished. But often, there are no jobs available. So then they feel unqualified, so they go to U.G. or somewhere else; they spend 2 or 3 or more years there hoping to get a job when they come out. Again, they are often disappointed. Persons have the qualifications, but the jobs are not available.
Yours faithfully,

I am an example, I finished high school with grade 1s and distinctions and up to now, 2 years later, I can't get a job. I applied numerous times to the Teaching Service Commission (T.S.C.) but have had no response.
The PPP/C needs to open their eyes to what is going on in the Ministry of Education. Let more jobs become available to Guyanese who want to work.
