TOP cyclist Dwayne Gibbs continued his winning ways when he captured the 25-lap event in the Roraima Bikers one-day meeting, sponsored by Brans Security Service and held around the inner circuit of the National Park.

Gibbs, who also claimed two of the six prime point prizes, clocked 56:0.55 minutes to win from Warren McKay who placed second while Tyrone Hamilton was third and the youthful Gerald Fowler fourth.

McKay also won two prime pint prizes with one going to Fowler and the other to Rockwell Seecharran.

The juniors 10 laps went to Marlon Williams with Jorge Emmerson taking the second position.

Vinesh Narine came out tops among the Category 4 riders, winning the 10-lap event from Kevin Jones (second) and Mark Campbell (third).

Alain Smartt captured all four prime point prizes.

The juveniles 10 laps saw Albert Philander winning from Shane Boodram and Travis Mendonca who were second and third respectively. Philander also won both prime point prizes.

John Hamilton proved supreme in the five laps for upright wheelers, winning from Cliff Thomas (second) and Linden Burrowes (third). Hamilton also won the lone prime point prize.

The veterans 35-49 five-lap affair went to Deon David with Vaughn Phillips finishing second and Virgil Jones third. David copped the lone prime point prize.

The two laps for BMX boys nine-14 years saw Christopher Mackintosh whipping Richard Rohoman into second place while Eurica Wilson was the lone contestant among the BMX girls.

Brans Security official, Tricia Parris, presented the prizes. General Manager Dereck Thompson and manager Harold Brandford were also at the presentation ceremony.
