Mae's school completed a clean sweep of the categories contested when the inaugural Sunburst schools table tennis championships ended on Friday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
Mae's school led by star players Jonathan Sankar and Trenace Lowe earned the most outstanding school title after winning the under-13, under-15 and under-17 categories.
Mae's won the under-17 category with a 3-0 rout of the Business School and the under-15 title at the expense of School of the Nations `A'.
They also defeated School of the Nations in the under-13 category.
The most outstanding male and female players were Sankar and Jody Ann Blake respectively while Edinho Lewis of the Business School was adjudged the most improved player.
Berbice High School was voted the most disciplined team while School of the Nations won the best dressed team award.
Wismar/Christianburg Multilateral was judged the best out of town school.
Sankar won the open singles crown beating Raymond Baksh 8-11, 11-9, 14-12, 7-11, 11-7 while Tristan Gaime beat Zach Gonsalves 11-5, 11-9, 10-12, 4-11, 11-8 for third place.
Company Secretary of Continental Group of Companies M.S. Ally in making the presentation said he was impressed with the level of participation and the discipline shown by the players.
