PEOPLE'S National Congress Reform (PNC/R) Leader, Mr. Desmond Hoyte yesterday represented one of several persons arrested during a joint Police/Army "cordon and search" operation in Buxton on September 28, last.
Mr. Hoyte appeared on behalf of Gloria Thomas of 151 Friendship, East Coast Demerara, at the Vigilance Magistrate's Court and sought to have the charge against the defendant dismissed.
