Trotman earns Master's focusing on resolution of conflicts

PNC/R parliamentarian and attorney-at-law, Raphael Trotman has obtained the Master of Arts degree in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in the United States.
The programme, which is conducted in collaboration with the John F Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, covers a range of subjects, concentrating on the nature and resolution of wars and conflicts, with an emphasis on international negotiations.
At the end of the course, Trotman successfully defended his thesis on "The threat of State disintegration in the West Indies", featuring Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica.
Previously Trotman had visited the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland to examine the Northern Ireland peace process and recently he completed specialist training in Parliamentary Management in Oxford, England and Defence Planning and Strategy at the Washington DC-based Centre for Hemispheric Studies of the National Defense University.
