PPP supports Monday's human chain

The People's Progressive Party (PPP) has said it would support the human chain scheduled to link Freedom House and PNCR headquarters at Congress Place on Monday, as part of activities by various religious groups to promote national peace and unity.
In a press release yesterday, the PPP referred to the upcoming event as "a welcome gesture". The release also encouraged all Guyanese to back the effort and "to demonstrate against the forces of disunity, violence and crime."
