Roberts of Royal, who was second to Blackman of Police in the 100 metres dash on the opening day, was 0.1 second faster than Blackman, who shares the top sportsman title with Rawle Green, taking the race in 21.6 seconds. John Campbell of Corentyne finished in 22.8 to place third and Keen Abel of Police came fourth.
Alisha Foster, of Rising Stars, easily took care of her only opponent Beverly Selman of Royal, with 26.1 and 26.9 seconds respectively.
In the Junior (Under-20) division, Carlton Babb of Royal clocked 23 seconds flat to take the title ahead of Darwin Eastman of Police (23.7), Kaschta Otto of Royal (24.2) and Quacy Staglon of Police.
The Girls title went to Rushell Coates of Royal (26.2 seconds), with Rhobyn Alleyne placing second (26.4), Stacy Smith third and Joanne Van Sertima fourth.
Quacy Trotman of Police won the Youth (Under-17) title in 23.6 seconds, followed by Ryan Reid of Royal (23.8), Neilson Pratt of South Georgetown and Delmas Reddock of Police.
Finishing in 26.4 seconds, Dianne Munroe of Police claimed the Girls title, with second place going to Asanti Mickle of Rising Stars (27.1), Amilia Niles of Police (27.2) third and Analisa Austin of Atoms (27.5) fourth.
Tai Payne of Atoms staved off a mid-race challenge from Roberto Inniss to win the 800 metres Men’s final easily in two minutes flat. Inniss, of Upper Demerara, clocked 2:03.4 minutes, Dwayne Walcott of Police 2:07.7 and Larry Josiah of Police 2:00.5.
In the Women’s final, Anarika February of Rising Star was an easy winner, finishing in 2:31.7 minutes, ahead of club-mate Erica Browne (2:38.4), followed by Gevita David of Royal and Colette Burnette of Linden Track Club.
Lionel D’Andrade of Bedford was again unbeatable in the distance event, winning the 5 000 metres Men’s/Under-20 race in 16:38.9 minutes, way ahead of second-placer Tulsirai Ramnauth of Atoms (16:59.3), followed by Colin Mercurius of Police and Raybarn Rose of Corentyne.
Youth middle-distance runner Jennifer Chichester won double gold, taking the 3 000 metres and 800 metres, winning the former in 11:15.9 minutes and the latter in 2:32.0 minutes.
Carlisa Atkinson of Road Runner was second in the 3 000 metres, Delicia Dick of New Amsterdam Track Club third and Adunni Daniels of Silver Bullets fourth, while Donna April of NA Track placed second in the 800 metres, Rushell King of Atoms third and Kenesha Lashley of President’s College fourth.
The 3 000 metres Boys’ title went to Ricky Kissoon of South Georgetown (9:16.8 minutes), followed by Jamal Trotman of President’s College, Dia Shabbazz of Road Runner and Travis Bovell of Road Runner.
Although the field events attracted few competitors, the highlight was the 7:43 metres leap registered by Clyde Gibson of Atoms in the Under-20 long jump. Kevin Bonnette of Linden Track was second (7.03), Corwin Bagot of Bedford third and Devon Farley of Police fourth.
