Club Captain of the Everest Club.
So far the cricket has been going pretty well. The support of the crowd was reasonable. It is unfortunate that the Carib Beer XI were bowled out for 132 in the first innings and I think if they had applied themselves, they would have been able to do far better than they did.
Presently they are batting for the second time and they have 120 runs for two; seems to me that they have learnt from their mistakes in the first innings.
All in all I can safely say the atmosphere here at the Everest Cricket ground is superb and everybody is enjoying themselves.
There is a fair display of batting I want to single out Steve Waugh. He made 32 runs but it was very very entertaining.

The cricketers performed to their best. On the first day the Australians batted and made lots of runs and on the second day they (Carib Beer XI) gave them (Aussies) a good fight. On Sunday the crowd support was great, there was a lot of noise and entertainment with the game. It is slow presently but likely to pick up later.

The Carib team is short of talents. This is a bad sign for West Indies Cricket. The West Indies Cricket Board has to do a lot more to develop young talented players into the game, playing at a consistently high level.
The crowd response on Saturday and Sunday was very good and today being the final day we still have a larger crowd than I would have expected.

The Australians have proved that they are the world’s strongest side up to now. You can see the togetherness of the team; they are spiritually happy and they came here to play cricket and I know for a fact and from observing this game that they have a powerful bowling attack and batting line up.
The Aussies have proved so in both areas, with Steve Waugh getting 100, and one of the best opening batsmen in the world, Matthew Hayden, also scoring a century.
Looking at the West Indies Carib Beer team, they did not have a good run in the batting in the first innings, but today (Monday) we saw a good little knock from Devon Smith who seems to be quite an organised batsman, and we have Imran Jan, he has played each ball on its merit and seems to have good concentration and character.
We are seeing some good young players, and it is a good sign for West Indies cricket in the future. As for the bowling Adam Sanford did not have such a bad match and Marlon Black had a good second bowl in the second innings.
So far the West Indies Carib Beer side is putting up a better fight in the second innings. As the match progresses they will continue to develop that confidence that we are seeing now. Probably they were a bit shaky knowing that they were coming up against one of the strongest side in the world.
But they are showing good character and I think that West Indies cricket will get better and in the next two years we will get right up back on top.

The game is going fairly well, they have been playing real good. I did not expect this many people and I am enjoying the game and it is fun cheering with the crowd in the stands.
I came to give support to our team and received time off from school to attend the game. I am glad I came.

Everything is going real fine. I have been here every day and I have no regrets. The crowd response is very good. The players are all performing and the game is going just as I predicted. I am expecting Australia to win.

Australia will win. I am here to support the Australians because I love them. They are playing good cricket. I was here Sunday and will be at Bourda every day. The other team would have to battle this out for themselves because I am not supporting them.
