The
tomb with the remains of Former Executive President and Leader of
the PNC/R, Desmond Hoyte yesterday morning at the Botanical Gardens.
It was sealed following his burial on Monday evening amid chaos and
crude behaviour. Overzealous mourners frustrated efforts to seal
Hoyte's tomb after the casket bearing his earthly remains had been
interred. This had visibly upset his wife, Joyce who asked for
proceedings to be speeded up when the situation became chaotic. (Ken

remains on Monday evening at the Botanical Gardens. His wife Joyce
can be seen under the tent in the background. Mourners crowded the
scene and impeded the smooth progress of the planned programme. At
right, a man with a staff can be seen prodding the concrete where
Hoyte was to be interred.
