As part of their investigations into the brutal murder of 38-year-old Kashmattie Singh on Monday night, the police have detained her husband for questioning, reliable sources told Stabroek News last evening.
Singh was shot five times in her upper body at her husband's Hill and James street, Albouystown premises at around 7:30 pm.
Her husband, Basdeo Narine, also known as Patrick Singh, had told this newspaper that his wife had been shot at the top of a stairway leading to his business premises in the lower flat.
