Two of the survivors of the Sheriff street shooting, which left one youth dead and another seriously wounded yesterday identified two other police officers as being involved in the incident.
Attorney-at-law Nigel Hughes said the two youths, Quacy Haywood and O’Neil King had identified the two other officers.
They had identified a third on Monday when four officers had refused to take part.
The lawyer and the youths were told to return on Wednesday but were again sent away because not enough persons turned up to take part. Two police officers who might have been with the group during the incident were not identified.
Hughes said that they were now awaiting the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) to file charges against the officers.
The identification parade was ordered by the DPP after a report by the police investigating team had been submitted.
The police had launched a high level investigation into the March 1 shooting which saw eighteen-year-old Yohance Douglas being shot dead by police.
Ronson Grey was also shot in the mouth and is still in a serious condition in the hospital while King was shot in the hand.
