Jagdeo returns to Russian alma mater

President Bharrat Jagdeo is going back to his university in Russia as part of a delegation attending the World Forum on Graduates from Russian institutions to be held in Moscow.
He will lead a four-member delegation of Guyanese who graduated from training programmes in the then Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
Jagdeo leaves the country tomorrow and is scheduled to return on May 18. He will be accompanied by Political Adviser to the President, Kellawan Lall; Senior Agricultural Officer in the Ministry of Agriculture, Joseph McAllister; and the acting Director of Regional Services in the Ministry of Health, Dr Bheri Ramsarran.
The past graduates will be given the opportunity to visit their various alma mater. Russian President, Vladimir Putin will address the World Forum.
