Two more Chinese nationals were on Thursday night isolated at the Georgetown Public Hospital as the Ministry of Health continues to be cautious about the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) disease which has killed more than 500 worldwide.
A source confirmed yesterday that the two men were taken directly from the airport to the hospital where they joined three other Chinese, who were quarantined on Wednesday in the area set aside for suspected SARS cases.
However, the source made clear that none of the persons was ill but they were being isolated as a precaution and would be released after seven days. The area at the hospital has the capacity to accommodate thirty-five beds.
