The body of former Rupununi Chamber of Commerce President, Mohamed Khan, who was abducted and killed in Brazil four months ago, has been brought back to Guyana.
The results of a DNA test a few weeks ago on a body found in a shallow grave confirmed that it was Khan’s.
His family in Lethem will be hosting a service at the Lethem Rodeo ground on Sunday starting at 10 am. Khan was abducted from a bus travelling to Manaus by three policemen on June 22. These men were identified by the driver of the bus and were arrested soon after. They are, Caesar Paulo called `Buckley’ Domingo Pereira de Aquino, Adail Rodrigues Borges known as `Spider’, and Francisco Guimaraes known as `Hawk’.
