Grace, Kennedy Remit-tance Services (Guyana) Limited (GKRS), the local agent for Western Union Bill Express Services, on Tuesday launched its newest location at J’s Supermarket in Essex Street, New Amsterdam.

A press release from the company said this location brings the total number of Western Union Bill Express locations in the Berbice area to eight and increases the GKRS Guyana network to 37.

Western Union customers will have the convenience of sending or receiving money from anywhere around Guyana or the world. In addition, the release said, the Bill Express service will make it easier for customers to pay their electricity, telephone and internet bills quickly, conveniently and with no hassle.

According to the release, Agent Network Officer, Amjad Rahaman commended the initiative by owner of J’s Supermarket, Ramanand Sripal to bring the service to the residents of New Amsterdam and surrounding areas.
