Trading volume in the dumps

Volume on the stock exchange reached new lows yesterday, yielding 205,232 from 29,522 shares traded in only three of the registered companies.
This week's results are substantially down from last week's $997,138 and one of the lowest revenue days since the exchange opened on June 30.
A total of 11,369 shares of Banks DIH Ltd traded at prices between $5.90 and $6.20 for a total of $67,738 at yesterday's trading session held at the office of the Guyana Association of Securities Companies and Intermediaries Inc. (GASCI), Robb Street and Avenue of the Republic.
Shares in Demerara Distillers Ltd (DDL) traded at $6.50 for a total consideration of $15,153.
The National Bank of Industry and Commerce (NBIC) had 3,000 of its shares trading at $13 and these were worth $39,000.
