The national under-23 football team is scheduled to wing out for Costa Rica this afternoon minus striker Elton Browne and midfielder Jonathan Peters.

The team of 18 players and five officials travel to the Central American country to further engage in the herculean task of qualifying for the final of the CONCACAF Olympic Qualifier.

Both Peters and Browne have not recovered from injuries and did not received the selectors' nod. Technical Director Neider Dos Santos said that his charges are going to Costa Rica to fight for a good result.

"We will fight from the very first minute to the last. We will try to bring back a good result. A win will be great but a draw would be good," Dos Santos said yesterday.

Guyana play the tough host country on Saturday in the first game of a home and away tie. The return is scheduled for Sunday, November 23 at the Blairmont ground.

The team to Costa Rica is: Fidel Smith, Travis Waterton, Sherwin Cadogan, Orlando Jilgeous, Walter `Boyd' Moore, Dirk Archer, Shawn Beveney, Anthony Harding, Emrick Williams, Devon Millington, Gregory Richardson, Andrew Durant, Kelvin McKenzie, Kester Alleyne, Travis Grant, Jerome Richardson, Dwight Peters and Jermine Willis.
