The installation of the IMC will include the presentation of letters of appointment, election of the IMC chairman and vice-chairman and acceptance remarks by the IMC chairman.
The IMC will replace the town's outgoing council, which served under Mayor Stan Smith, as a result of elections held in the 1994 local government and municipal elections.
The IMC was named to replace the elected council based on the findings and recommendations of an inquiry held into the management of the council.
The IMC members were selected following consultation with PNCR Leader Robert Corbin.
At the last municipal elections, the PNCR had won 15 of the 18 seats contested while the PPP/C secured three.
