ICC Cricket World Cup West Indies 2007 Inc. ("CWC 2007") announced on November 13 the start of a global search for a company or consortium of companies to act as consultants in Human Resource Manage-ment and Development (HRM&D)
Managing Director and CEO, Chris Dehring said: "We are moving forward rapidly to have the people and processes in place to execute the complex and exciting delivery of World Cup 2007. The human resource experts chosen through this tender will assist us in ensuring that a world class organisation is in place to run CWC 2007."

The tender seeks to contract a firm to design and implement an HRM&D plan that will facilitate the ICC CWC 2007 operations bench-marked to the highest standards in the world. The services that are being sought include job analysis and design, recruitment, compensation management, orientation, training and development.
Ideally, applying firms should consist of a team of professionals (either a single firm or a consortium of firms) with the following credentials:
Previous experience with major world sports events and events of a similar nature to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007.
Substantial working knowledge of the sport of cricket and the fundamental workings of world games.
Experience working in the Caribbean.
Significant knowledge of West Indian cricket and/or world cricket.
In addition, firms with Caribbean nationals in senior HRM&D position should have an advantage.
