Dear Editor,
It is unfortunate that Mr. Khemraj Ramjattan was expelled as a member of the PPP/Civic Central Commit-tee. Mr. Ramjattan is indeed a very brilliant person. It is people like Mr. Khemraj Ramjattan, Mr. Raphael Trotman and Mr. Vic Puran, just to mention a few names, that the young generation in particular are interested in hearing from.
It is time that the PPP wake up and change its approach. It shows clearly that the PPP feels threatened by brilliant minds, especially when they observe that their junior colleagues have qualities of leadership. This is very discouraging for the young generation and personally, I do not see this approach helping Guyana in any way.
Mr. Ramjattan don't be discouraged, but instead, continue to voice your concerns. Your good work will take you to higher places than Freedom House.
Yours faithfully,
Dave Ghansam
