KINGSTON, Jamaica, (CMC) - Jamaica’s selectors have named West Indies reserve wicketkeeper/batsman Carlton Baugh in their 13-man squad for this weekend’s Carib Beer Series fourth round game against Kenya in Grenada.

In spite of Baugh’s inclusion, Keith Hibbert, who snared a record 10 dismissals against Barbados over the weekend, retains his place in the squad as wicketkeeper.

West Indies fast bowler Daren Powell has recovered from back trouble but is still considered to be below peak match fitness, and was omitted.

The selectors also omitted left-arm spinner Lorenzo Ingram, who did not impress against Barbados, and pacer Evon McInnis, who played the first two games of the season.

Barbados, rallying from a first innings deficit, beat Jamaica by 40 runs on Monday to lead the standings on maximum 36 points, while Jamaica slipped to fourth on 19 points, behind Trinidad and Tobago and West Indies-B, who share second spot on 24 points each.

Hibbert set a new wicket-keeping record for regional first-class cricket when he completed 10 dismissals (nine catches, one stumping) in the match, and amazingly, his effort was equalled by Barbados' Courtney Browne (also nine catches and a stumping).

Squad: Gareth Breese (captain), Brenton Parchment, Maurice Kepple,

David Bernard, Tamar Lambert, Mario Ventura, Carlton Baugh, Keith Hibbert, Jerome Taylor, Andrew Richardson, Ryan Cunningham, Odean Brown Dwight Mais.
