The preliminary inquiry into the death of Yohance Douglas returned to the Chief Magistrate's Court yesterday.
Nineteen-year-old teacher Ronson Grey was the new witness on the stand.
Grey of 2201 Layou Street, North Ruimveldt, was questioned by attorney Jo-Ann Barlow and Senior Counsel Bernard De Santos.
Following questions to Grey, who was injured in the shooting, proceedings were adjourned until next Tuesday, when De Santos will continue his cross-examination of the witness.
The case is against policemen Gerald Alonzo and Mahendra Baijnauth who were charged with the unlawful killing of Douglas in Sheriff Street, Georgetown, on March 1 last year.
