President Bharrat Jagdeo says he never accused PPP MP Khemraj Ramjattan of passing information to western missions.
The President was responding yesterday through his Information Liaison, Robert Persaud, to a news item in Saturday's edition of the Stabroek News which said that he had accused Ramjattan of passing information to the British, Canadian and US missions here.
Ramjattan appeared before a PPP disciplinary hearing last Friday because of remarks he had made in a column published on January 31 in the Stabroek News. The remarks were critical of the PPP's handling of the allegations against Home Affairs Minister Ronald Gajraj.
A final decision is still to be reached on the disciplinary matter.
