Prime Minister Sam Hinds is suggesting the establishment of a Truth Commission as a possible way of dealing with the death squad allegations against Home Affairs Minister Ronald Gajraj.
He made the statement on the programme 'Plain Talk' hosted by Christopher Ram, which will be broadcast today at 6 pm on VCT Channel 28.
"Maybe going in the direction of a Truth Commission, that format instead of [an] accusatory format," he suggested, adding that the option was one which would allow persons who might have been involved in activities "to have their sins cast away."
However, he insisted that persons with evidence must come forward before any investigation could be held.
