New York-based Guyanese Steven Ellis is expected in Guyana today to meet persons interested in playing American Football.
According to a release from the Caribbean-American Football League (Guyana) headquarters, Ellis will arrive today and will meet prospective players and interested parties at the Diocesan Youth Centre, Subryanville from 4 pm.
This introductory meeting is to brief all concerned about plans for the game in Guyana, to advise all interested parties as to what is required of them to ensure a successful launch, and lay the foundation for the growth of the sport here.
Persons interested in becoming involved can make contact with either the Secretary or the Coordinator at telephone number 226-0998, or feel free to be present at the introductory meeting this afternoon at the DYC.
