Guyana's senior national football team was edged out 1-0 by Trinidad and Tobago's under-23 team in a friendly international held in the Twin Island Republic yesterday.
Reports from the island stated that the goal was scored around the 30th minute of the game. Guyana threw away several goals against the Trinidad side the report said.
The 1-0 defeat follows closely on the heels of a 5-0 hammering at the hands of Grenada last Saturday in the CONCACAF World Cup qualifier.
Yesterday's game is the last international warm-up match before the return game with Grenada scheduled for the Blairmont ground on March 14.
The local squad is expected back home this morning.
