SHIVNARINE Chanderpaul will have a chance to show his return to fitness when he captains Guyana in a one-day warm-up match against England.
Chanderpaul, 29, was left out of the West Indies squad for the fourth Test when he complained of fatigue.
The match, to be played at the Everest Cricket Club ground on Friday, is England's only one before a seven-game one-day series.
Chanderpaul failed to impress in three Tests against the tourists, his best score being 50 in Barbados.
The West Indies Cricket Board has not commented on whether he could return to play in the one-day series, which begins on April 18.
Left-arm spinner Neil McGarrell is the only other player with Test experience in the home side.
