REVELERS flocked to the National Park after the traditional May Day celebrations for a promised treat by T.O.K., the Jamaican group performing here for the second time in as many years.
T.O.K. - acronym for Taking Over Kingston, changed recently from Touch Of Klass - so delivered that it left the large National Park crowd more than satisfied with its performance.
The group, brought here by Giddo Promotions, did promise at a press briefing at La Famila Country Club Friday that it would provide patrons with 'riddims' they would remember for a long time gyrating to old and new songs, the echo of its performance making them forget that wet weather was around.
T.O.K., formed in 1993, consists of Alex McCalla, Roshaun Clarke, Xavier Davidson and Craig Thompson.
Their latest album, 'Juicy,' is to be followed 'Unknown Language' in August.
Their debut album, "My Crew, My Dawgs," was released in 2001 and some of their hits include "Mona Lisa," "Money 2 burn," "Chi Chi Man," and "Keep It Blazing."
