This week's trade yielded $ 1,131,710 from 118,348 shares traded, definitely heavier than last week's volume and activity of 92,644 shares at a total consideration of $538,297.
Active stocks were BTI, DDL, DIH and NBI. The price of BTI shares were up 14 % when compared to the previous close and 15,000 shares were sold for $32 garnering the largest single trade consideration in this session. Some 57,727 DIH shares traded, representing 49 % of total shares and 28% of the total consideration with the Mean Weighted Average Price (MWAP) being $ 5.5.
During the 46th trading session, most DIH shares were traded at $5.5 improving to $5.6 towards the end.
Another 36% of trades involved 42,871 shares in DDL which were traded at a MWAP of $ 7.0 and contributed $300,397 to the total consideration. 2,750 NBI shares also exchanged hands during trading at a price of $11.9 which represented a $0.10 fall when compared to the previous session's closing price of $12.0 which had prevailed over the past five weeks. Trading continues on Monday at 10 AM at the offices of GASCI located on the corner of Avenue of the Republic and Robb Street.
