The New Building Society Limited (NBS) has advertised for sale by tender a number of properties in Linden, on the West Coast of Demerara (WCD) and in Georgetown, making the proclamation that no reasonable offer would be refused.

A source from within the NBS said earlier this week that the properties being put up for sale would have been foreclosed upon because of the owners' failure to honour their loan obligations. She said there is no closing date by which the tenders are to be received and stressed that the NBS would accept any reasonable offer submitted.

Among the properties for sale are one property consisting of a one-flat wooden building of 2,060 square feet on land measuring 86,649 square feet situated at Plot XX, Three Friends, Right Bank Demerara River, Linden and one one-flat concrete building of 939 square feet on land measuring 8,085 square feet, situated at Parcel 1,818, Block XLIII Zone on the Right Bank of the Demerara River.

In Georgetown, the NBS has a property for sale consisting of a two-flat wooden and concrete building of 1,704 square feet on land measuring 52.32'x 38.39' located at Lot 'A' South Section, Lodge.

On the West Coast of Demerara, the NBS has for sale one two-flat wooden and concrete building measuring 1,320 square feet on land measuring 100'x 47.5' located at Parcel 52 (Lot 42) Block XIX, Seafield, Leonora; and one two-flat wooden building measuring 1,912 on land measuring 60'x 72' situated at Lot 27, Area 'F' De Kinderen.

According to the NBS, arrangements can be made to inspect the properties. Persons are advised to submit tenders to the NBS offices.
