The United Muslim Party (UMP) is a secular political party dedicated to serving the Guyanese people.
In an official statement of its fundamental policy issued on Monday, the leader Mr Mohamed Nazir says the UMP seeks the support of all religious leaders to bring quick political progress and peace.
The UMP says it is against discrimination of any kind and will seek the correct solutions for the many problems that beset Guyana.
