RORAIMA Airways on Saturday held its annual Christmas party for the children of Santa Mission at the Arrow Point tourist resort.
The children were presented with gifts from Santa and had a day of fun at the resort at Kamuni Creek on the Demerara River
Head of Roraima Airways, Gerry Gouveia, said that since the name of the village is Santa Mission he takes Santa to the mission so that the children can have a good time.
The team prepared goodies and gifts for more than 100 children, but only those up to 10 years old received gifts.
Santa Claus greeted the children while they were making their way to the resort, presented them with gifts, had lunch with them and then partied down with them.
The children also sang special songs for Santa.
