Platinum Records will premiere its newest video this weekend at the Lollipop show in the mining town of Linden as the outfit seeks to move into the audio/visual market.
The video was made for the "Playing Games" track that won much applause from the crowd the last time Fojo and Little African performed live at the Mackenzie Sports Club venue.
The studio is scheduled to also publicize its "Macoying Me" video by Passion on local television. This video, studio executives said, would be very different and would present cinematography new to the Guyanese public. The song is about one man's war against the world for continuously talking about his movements instead of minding their own business.
Additionally, in a week's time Platinum will launch its DVD featuring "Dirty" by Xcellent, "Macoying Me" by Passion, "Anaconda" by R-Mo-Ny, and "Gangsta Loving" by Fojo among several others.
'Auto Tunes' and 'EverReady Rhythm' discs were officially released for sale this week. These discs have been out for some time but were not yet on sale as the studio had to "flesh out" certain contractual arrangements with its artistes and other logistics. Now however the discs are ready to bust and fans can pick up their original copies at the studio's 48B Sheriff and Craig Streets outlet as well as at the studio's parent company office at 2010 Hadfield Street (behind the Brickdam Police Station).
