GDF says opportunities abound in the Force

The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) said it used the occasion of GuyExpo to highlight the employment and training opportunities available in the force. A press release from the GDF said bills with data about the information technology, signal, coast guard, personnel and public relations departments and the air corps, ordinance corps, medical corps units were posted in its booth at the exhibition. The public relations department also displayed items such as military attire, medical equipment, aviation instruments, radio and telecommunication equipment, electronics and photographs depicting the units in day-to-day action. The GDF said GuyExpo afforded them an opportunity to showcase its commitment to economic development and assisting in nation building.
