Guyana's first beauty home 'Radiant Touch' which will cater exclusively for women, was officially opened on Thursday following a simple ceremony at the 112 New Garden Street, Queenstown, Georgetown location.

The Indian beauty clinic caters for a vast number of skin deficiencies that women are afflicted with, especially acne, dandruff, warts, moles and dry skin, among other aliments.

Women are being assured by the owners that after treatment they would “have a look of glow and glamour”.

Minister of Human Services Priya Manickchand who was the guest of honour, cut the ceremonial ribbon was given an exclusive tour of the facilities by proprietrix, Honey Sehgal.

Minister Manickchand expressed pleasure at being able to share the special occasion with Ms. Sehgal and her staff, and wished the fledgling business house abundant success.

Sehgal, an Indian National, said it was a challenge to establish the facility, but she was happy it had been accomplished.

In addition to the clinic there are a variety of Indian clothing items on sale at the facility, including Saris, Lengas, Skirts, Churridars, Shalwars, as well as attractive Indian footwear and several accessories for hair, earrings, necklaces, bangles among other items.

Also available is Herbal hair oil, which is said to be effective for persons who are seeking re-growth of hair on bald spots. The user is required to apply the oil on the affected area, twice per week at night and wash it off in the morning.
